About

Departing Kununurra we begin our journey west for Wyndham, passing by Ivanhoe Crossing, Black Rock Falls and Secret Springs! We venture around Wyndham, uncovering its hidden gems before making tracks along the Kurunjie Stock Route for the Prison Boab, Home Valley Station and ‘El Questro! Try your luck bagging a Barra as we camp riverside on the Pentecost River while we watch the sunset over the Cockburn Ranges.  Departing Home Valley we venture to ‘El Questro exploring Emma Gorge along the way. With a two night stop over at ‘El Q we venture around this 700’000 Kimberly Station exploring its wilderness. Epic gorges, ore inspiring lookouts and amazing swimming are the flavours of ‘El Questro.

As we bid farewell to ‘El Questro we continue west, calling by Ellenbrae Station for Smoko before carrying onto Drysdale River and Kalumburu. We Pass by Kalumburu set for Honey Moon Bay. Here we’ll unwind and reminisce over our last adventure. Optional fishing charters and cultural tours are available during our stay at Honey Moon Bay.

After restocking in Kalumburu we travel south west along Port Warrender road and explore Mitchell River national Park including Mitchell falls and Mertens Falls. Don a headset and jump aboard an optional scenic helicopter flight over this epic Kimberley region.

As we look to our next remote adventure we continue south west along the Kalumburu and Gibb River Road’s before arriving at Mount Elizabeth Station. We adventure though this remote Kimberley cattle station exploring its hidden gorges and waterfalls. Returning back to Mount Elizabeth’s homestead we carry onto Mount Barnett. It’s here we relax and venture on foot to explore Manning Gorge. Spend the day Gorge side soaking up its natural beauty.

Feeling revitalised we set our sights for the King Leopold Ranges and explore Galvans Gorge, Adcock Gorge and Bell Gorge along the way.

As we near the western end of the Gibb River Road we venture south to explore the crocodile filled Windjana Gorge. Whilst south of the Gibb we head underground, swimming our way through freezing water as we explore Tunnel Creek - An absolute Kimberley highlight!

As our adventure on the Gibb River Road comes to an end, we continue into the town of Derby where we explore the town's rich history. We witness the magnitude of the Kimberley’s tidal systems whilst overlooking King Sound. Tonight we will camp riverside, on the banks of the Fitzroy River in the upper reaches of King Sound.

Debating our secret camp spot, we make tracks for Dampier Peninsula exploring Beagle Bay, Middle Lagoon and Cape Leveque (Kooljaman) along the way.  Whilst in the peninsula we experience the art of Pearl Culturing, touring Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm. Tonight we camp at one of the Kimberley’s most epic beach camps and experience life as a traditional owner as we explore the coastal region with an indigenous guide.

As we near the end of our Koping In The Kimberley tour, it’s time to make tracks south for Broome and enjoy a final evening together as we watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean from Cable Beach!
