About

Our professional guide will run you through a daily photography workshop focusing on an area of interest including Astro/Celestial, landscape and wildlife photography.  You’ll also gain many editing tips from your guide throughout your travels.

We can offer both East to West or West to East desert crossing options to suit all travelling schedules.

Our Westbound departure sees us leave Birdsville in pursuit of Big Red. We traverse the QAA line stopping by the Tri Border of Poeppels Corner. We then pickup the French Line, exploring its many hidden gems before exiting the dunes to enjoy Dalhousie Hot Springs. We pass by the Lamberts Geographical Centre of Australia then make tracks up the iconic Ghan Train Line. We conclude in Alice Springs.

Our eastbound adventure will see us depart Alice Springs in the pursuit of the Madigan Line. A personal favourite of Nicks, the Madigan Line boasts the reddest of sands and beautiful desert scenery - a Photographer's dream! We’ll also pass along a section of the Hay River Run before jumping onto the QAA Line to conclude our tour in Birdsville.
